Who else is running?
The current incumbent is running for a third term. She has served on USBE following a career in administrative legal positions at the state level.  My background is “on the ground” as a parent and a classroom teacher. It is time for fresh perspectives and active, engaged leadership to address the critical needs of Utah’s parents and educators, and most importantly, our children!

Why are you running as unaffiliated?
District 6 is politically just about a third, a third and a third – meaning Democrat, unaffiliated and Republican. I am running unaffiliated in order to bypass the usual labels that divide us. I believe our commitment to education must be bigger than politics.

What area is your district?
District 6 (Park City, east Salt Lake City, Millcreek, and north Holladay).

What is your main focus?
My main focus is academic excellence, positive and engaged relationships with parents, educators, and legislators, and above all, doing what is right for children.

What can I do to help?
I hope you will support my campaign! Even having a conversation with your neighbors is a big help. You can also post a sign in your yard, or volunteer to help with a cottage meeting so I can meet you and your neighbors.
